    Dear Maureen and Ian, sorry to hear about Mum, life can be really hard! lets hope now that Ian has a successful operation:-) and then you can both settled down again, hope that retirement is good for you Maureen, i am sure that you are so busy with everything that is going on, take care San x

    Hello Batman, i am so sorry to hear your story but pleased that you have found this site:-) as you will learn lots and get support from here from a sufferer and carer perspective, our myeloma nurses [myeloma uk] are smashing and so knowledgeable too, send your husband my good wishes and i hope that all goes well with his treatment, San x

    Hello David i wondered where you got to8-) it was quiet ha! so pleased that you have done so well with your treatment sorry to her that you had a rough ride recently, my Mum starts velcade next week hope that it works for her too,though the side effects look awful! love San x

    Hi Sarah, all that i can tell you is that my Mum had revlimid for just 2 cycles and it knocked the myeloma back a few months, if her liver could have coped then she would have had it for more cycles and it might have given her a slightly longer remission, everybody is different in the way their bodies cope, i really hope that your Mum and my Mum make it through Christmas, my Mum is soon to start on more chemo maybe cdt not sure if it will help as she has had rcd but we hope. I had to smile when you mentioned that your Mum did not want to upset Christmas as my Mum is the same what great Mothers they are always thinking of the family, you are not alone, love San xx
