    Well for me I think NICE has got too tight a hold on the why's and wherefore of peoples treatment.

    I don't know how many are on the NICE panel nor how much they get paid?? but that must be coming off the central funds, I say let our Dr's and Consultants say what treatment is best for us.

    It isn't a walk in the park but its a doable, I had mine in Dec 09 and am now still in remission and doing great thanks to my SCT.
    Would I do it again ? In a heartbeat.

    I also am "Thick Skinned" but I like to say to folk "You wont bother me because I am Thick Skinned" and that Gap between the two words works wonders for me Ha ha. I know you have a soft centre 😀

    We have a hospital appointment in June for Elaine as its her 5 year check up and we are planning a week or so away prior to that and then come home all tanned to hear the word "Mrs Lappin you are Cancer free" we just cant wait 🙂

    I think my wait was because my Dr missed me and sent another patient when it should have been me (he got told off though 😛 )then I had to wait for a bed to be free at Hull, as you know it all worked and am still kicking though not as hard 😎

    I am sorry to read your Grandma has been told she has MM and I hope the treatment is kind to her.
    I also think this MM stuff is passed on I have told my three sons if they have bone pain go to Dr and tell them about Me and Ask for Blood tests.
