Thanx everybody,had such a long afternoon up the hospital today,they asked me to come in for 3-30,but it was nearly 6oclock when they saw me,and it was so warm up there, i nearly drifted off hahaha,but all went well,back again tomorrow afternoon. I went into town earlier to get Steve's xmas present,which was a new mobile fone,and while i was there i got myself a dongle,so that i can take my laptop in with me,so i'll still be able to post and keep everyone updated,well i'm off to my bed,been a long day, nighty night all x x x x

Dear Kevin,hi how are you today,hope you are feeling a little bit better,. Kevin i'm so sorry to hear that your allo sct failed you,not the type of news one wants to hear before all christmas festivities begin hey.Have they said what they are going to do next and can you have another allo done or no.And did they say why the allo failed. Sorry to bombard you with questions when your not feeling to good. I'm having an allo sct 2wks on Tuesday,and i'm just starting to get the colly wobbles again,i am nervous,but i know i'm in good hands,. And like you Kevin i'm hopeing to have a glass of champagne when my husband and family come to visit me yumm yumm. I'll raise my glass to you Kevin on christmas day. I do hope you start to feel better soon,you take great care Shirls x x x

Dear Roz,as Bridget say's its good that the nurses are keeping in touch with Micheals progress,. You say your having abit of a low/tearful day,but hey thats allowed,you go ahead and have a good weep,you feel much better for doing so,i myself always feel better when i've had a bit of a weep. Hope they get to sort Micheal out very soon,you stay strong as always luv Shirls x x x

Hi David, how you feeling this morning,hope you are feeling abit better today,. Just wanted to reply back about broadbands,i'm with BT,so i'm gonna ask if i need to get a dongle first,when i was in at the begining of the year,i had to get one,but because i'm having an allo,i get to have a differant room,(en suite with shower this time)like you i'll have a fridge,tv and phone,but must check about a line for broadband if not i'll get a dongle,hope you are ok and not to poopy,take care Shirls x x x

Hi Sharon,thankyou for that,i'm begining to feel nervous about it all,but know i'll be in good hands,got abit upset that i won't be spending much of xmas day with Stephen,cuz he's in the services he's got to work the night shift,but i do get to see him xmas morning,and i know i'll inundated with my family so its not that bad really. I am slighty worried about the infections when i come home,but friends and family have been warned to stay away if they think they are not well,there was a question i wanted to ask you,but its clear gone from my mind,if it comes back i'll write it down and ask you,its trivial hahaha. How are you feeling now,are you out and about and busy doing xmas shopping,just don't over do it if you are. thankyou for being so kind and take care Shirls x x x

Hi Elizabeth,i had a procedure very similer to the kapoplasty(sorry if i spelt it wrong),i had a vertrebroplasty done,i had my spine cemented on my t11/t12,like you i had horrendous backache,it has left me stooping a little,i have lost height because my bottom vertebre has crumbled,i never got my height back,but i am a lot straighter in my spine, and find i'm not stooping as much,i do get back ache but thats mainly muscle pain now and it aches even more in this cold weather,and i find my ribs ache too. I wish you good luck if you are getting this procedure done(kapoplasty that is),you'll feel great afterwards,take care Shirls x x

Hi Roz, please get one thing very clear in your mind you are not to blame for Micheal being in hospital,he couldn't go on with the pain he was in,and as for his sister well i wouldn't take it to heart with what she say's,she's probably feeling a little guilty and lashing out,its still not nice,so don't take any notice.
