Hi Tom

I only got one photo but it really looks good No wonder Elaine is pleased.

Love from Gill

PS tell Elaine to take her handbag off the cooker before she cooks breakfast:-)

• Well done Debs,

You must be kn***ered! definately time to put your feet up. Sorry I couldn't make it, but in a way glad I couldn't as the clutch went on my car!
You do such a great job raising money for MM – fantastic

• We went out for lunch today but I will have to think of something for supper.

A potato GRATIN with a few salad leaves might be quite nice

TIN next

PS although there are not really any rules in this game I think we should draw the line at the next word being tin-tin even though the film
is out:-) what do others think?

• Well done Debs what a brilliant amount of money. I agree with your family a bit of rest, recuperation and some TLC needed now, so sit back and congratulate yourself on the success of all your hard work

Dear Sue

Please do not stop posting becuase your news is negative. Surely this site is about supporting each other through all the ups and downs of this s***y disease.

It is great when there is a posting with something positive but I think we would all be living in cuckoo land if we thought that negative things were never going to…[Read more]

I have already welcomed David and I don't want to hijack his posting but thinking about the last post on here from Debs.

I would second a "Good News" topic. Surely it would not have to be just mm related but could be for members on this site posting any good news (good mm news always welcome of course:-).

Dear Sarah and Tina too

There is nothing I can say to comfort you but I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you.

Perhaps councilling would be of some small help, after all you can let all your emotions out to a real person who is not a family member or friend and will not be hurt or upset no matter what you say

Much love…[Read more]

Dear Sarah,

I would agree with you about grief getting worse. With me I think it is the realisation that Patrick is gone forever, he is not coming back. In the beginning it was so very hard to believe and that I was living a nightmare but hoping I would wake up and he would be there to comfort me.
I think you are right though – another death…[Read more]

• Hi Belles

What a scare. It does sound as though your mum's medical team is on the ball to find out the cause. I hope everything goes well for her.

Sorry I cannot be of any help over this

• Hi Min

I am pleased you are feeling relaxed. I took the liberty of looking up your word (I would not have a clue as to the spelling). It's a real hum-dinger Pharmaceuticals It still has the last 3 letters of Bridget's word but would leave als.

Then I came up with a word that contains both of those endings les and als 😎 (my one…[Read more]

Hi Sue,

Good to hear from you again and so sorry to hear you have the added strain from work. I expect they won't consider voluntary redundancy?

I would be interested to know why treatment varies so much not only from one area of the country to another but from person to person.

Is it because mm is such an enigma of an illness and so individual or is that the medical profession cannot agree how to treat mm? Or, more worringly, is it because of the cost.

Roz,

You didn't get it wrong at all.
It is still early days yet and as you say you can't turn your feelings of just like that – wish there was a switch to flick to dampen our sorrow. You have always sounded like a strong person to me and I am sure you will regain that strength as time goes on.
Hang on in there

Dear Pincushion
