Fares, I have just had a stem cell transplant at UCL London and whilst I was there patients were having CART-T treatment I believe it is still in clinical trial stage, call the Haematology Clinic at UCL London they will be able to give you more information.

    Sue,

As we all know MM is individual, some have itching post SCT and some do not, our symptoms seem very similar so I thank you for you posting much appreciated.

    Hi Sue,

I am six weeks post SCT and I have exactly the same itchy skin problem as you,  over my abdomen, back, legs, arms and neck/jowls, I have tried all the creams and  antihistemin allergy tablets to no avail,  I  had an appointment with my hospital and the CNS tells me this is a SCT/Melphelan side affect, and suggested Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief cream as the skin post SCT rejuvinates similar to baby skin,  I have tried this for a couple of days and it does seem to give me relief from the itching.  How are you getting on now?  I am not sure how long the lasts??

    Hi Gary,

I’m non secretory too, I had never been unwell,  I moved house and had some new aches and pains but thought this was because of the house move, how wrong was I !

‘Im similar age to you, and was diagnosed in July this year on bone marrow biopsy as my blood results were within normal range.  I did have a swollen clavicle and an MRI showed two other lesions and then had a PET scan.  I continued working full time the best I could.

With the diagnosis I was then started on VTD as being non-secretory was not elligible for trials, which after four cycles has given me remission and I am now awaiting SCT from UCL London, in January.

My side affects have been burning in my feet mostly at night.

How did your SCT go?  How long was you in for? Was it okay?
