Thanks, and no, no Zometa nothing zilch drug free 😀 cept me blood pressure and cholesterol tabs, I was on 4 weekly Zometa for two years post SCT and they say that's all you need ??

Jean my four weeks was for ages and ages before the moved me up to 8 weeks then it dint seem to take long before they done a 6 months one.

Welcome to the group, and am pleased they eventually found out what was causing Daz's problem even though it took its time.

Try not and search the internet am sure you can get all the info from us mottly mob here ha ha, and you can always phone/email the Nurse.

I was diagnosed in 2009, had CTD as a first line then SCT Dec 2009 and I sit here in remission and drug free 😎

Am sure your remission will last a long time 😀 , I have been in remission since 2009 and am now on 6 Month visits to see consultant and did I tell you "Drug Free" 😎

Well it has all been said and some above 😀
But my story (cut short cos am drug free at the moment)

I am the MM person 🙁 and doing darned great 😎 my young bride (Elaine) looks after my bits that I used to do but cant, and being the Carer was a role reversal as I was Elaine's Carer in 2008 when she had breast cancer and that for me was awful I prefer to be the MM person as I have better control over it and feel for my young bride as the Watcher I never liked it but it had to be done.

Many Thanks to all you Carers/watchers for doing a great But difficult Job.

A warm welcome to you sorry you had to join us 🙁 May I ask how your sister is and how she copes/coped ?

As for me I was on CTD as a first line of treatment in 2009 and the Constipation was Bad if I forgot to take my Medicine for it :-S and that was "Strong Codanthramer" 10mls at nite and that worked wonders for me

First aint it a beggar this Temp lark and not being too good in oneself 🙁 and whey oh why does it start on a week end and a bank holiday it beats me (answers on the proverbial postcard please)

As for the pillow under your arm ?? when Elaine (the young bride) had her Lumpectomy to remove the lump from her breast one of her friends made her a small heart shaped pillow,I said that's nice :-S but its a bit small to lean on?? then she placed the Heart (V uppermost) under her armpit and said its like this you daft begga and Elaine said it was a great help and eased her pain a lot 😀 am sure your Young Bride will be able to make one Easy Peasy for you Dai.

That Fella is correct am sure, I also trust My Consultant and am sure many of you know I am Happy when he is Happy 😎 Do I know what my PP levels are ? do I know if My Platelets are good :-/ do I know if my Bloods are Ok :-S do I know am still in remission :-0 Too true I do Why ?? Cos My Dr (Dr Jalihal) is smiling and introduces me to his trainee Consultants as the Mr Lappin that Tells me we are doing great 😀

Aww Carol

Am sorry to read that 🙁 but am sure they will find one drug regime that will work for you, it just takes time.

I hope that regime is soon found and sorts that MM out for you.
Am sure you being the blubbering wreck won't last for lone am sure you will face the challenge head on.
