Dai I have said that Many a time 😀 that I haven't and never did have it it was all a mix up Ha ha.

But I also feel that I am doing so well (drug free) is because I had enough Stem Cells for two transplants BUT they put them into three bags and not two :-S , so Saffy the consultant gave me the three bags, twice as much as I needed ? so do you think the SCT not working for some is because we should have more cells returned than they say we should have??
Its a thought?.

And we all know the Vodka thins the blood so its moving faster and those Darn MM bugs cant catch it Ha ha.

I think my wait was because my Dr missed me and sent another patient when it should have been me (he got told off though 😛 )then I had to wait for a bed to be free at Hull, as you know it all worked and am still kicking though not as hard 😎

I am sorry to read your Grandma has been told she has MM and I hope the treatment is kind to her.
I also think this MM stuff is passed on I have told my three sons if they have bone pain go to Dr and tell them about Me and Ask for Blood tests.

Yes its work but not hard work to be fair as I have been looked after like a long lost Son at my workplace.
As for driving yes I did and still do after my SCT in 2009 I had to go back to hospital every week for bloods and a check up and I drove to and from Hull 😀 , even after my BMB at 100 days I took a Friend with me to drive home if I was in too much pain but I was Ok so I drove.

Its not an easy task this MM lark and if Dad needs to pop a few more pills and sit and have a chat with a Councillor am up for that I have done Both during my CTD and SCT and am now spot on.

Diagnosed in Jan 2009 had CTD leading onto SCT December 2009 am now age 57 and sit here well and drug free 😉 , the road to remission was a bit bumpy at times but a well worth doable, Good Luck on your road to remission and don't forget make notes and take photo's (I forgot to do those and now have forgot most of what folk ask lol)

Its a bugger these chest problems I seem to have too many and I don't bloomin smoke now??.

Now I understand how Henry feels, we had a councillor at the hospital in hull where I had my SCT I used that and he was pretty good 😀 dint even kn ow I was having it till I started to get a bit weepy 🙁 but Hey it worked 😎
Try your local Hospital and Hospice to see if they can help out.
