So sorry to hear about your breakdown, I do hope your getting some help with it? and that also means trying to get help for both of you its a hard slog going through it all and being a Carer (hate that word??) its harder than being the patient I have been both (now the MM'er)

Its rough that Sam has relapsed but I hear Velcade works well, I wish you both Luck in this new road to remission.

I am like most I had mine prior to SCT so cant help.

Its a Shame and a disgrace that the consultant is on his own but that should not detract from the fact that without proper consultations and discussions a decision cant be made.
I would Email/Phone the Nurse on here as am sure you cant be forced into this with not knowing the how's and why's

Well as you know I cant add to this post as I have only had CDT then SCT (i say only ?? lol)
But want to wish you good luck with whatever you Both Choose, and to let you both know we are all behind you to help you get through it and achieve the Remission that we all crave.
As for the "Hangover" I honestly dont know what one is to be fair I am pleased to say I cope pretty well with the drink Lol.

Thanks it is good as you know when we get good news 😉 I have heard about long term Zometa, I came off mine after two years, but to be fair I was pleased as they found it harder to find a usable Vein some times :-S

Thanks for your best wishes BUT?? a lot of posts seem to mention Vodka?? do you think I should drink a bit now and then Ha ha.
Yes its great news and i wonder if thats because I Harvested enough for two SCT's but they put them into three bags and not two 🙁 I was a bit upset as they said they will give me them all that day :-/ so because i had near twice the ammount put back has that helped me have this lenth of Remission and (touch wood) little or no problems ? if thats so then I am realy Happy 😛
