Well I hope he can get infection kicked out and get on with treatment,its bad this time of year no matter wher you are some one is infected with somthing and are only to keen to pass it on 🙁

It looka like the revlimid Is working 😎 so it is good if infectios is sorted.

We have a few on here doing great and not having a SCT and I think the Dr's are nw thinking that its best if we don't have one ? .

I was a bit washed out during my CTD but it came back,not same as I used to be but doing good.

Its not a walk in the park to be honest BUT it is doable as we say I have had mine since 2008 (ish) CTD then SCT in 2009 and am now Drug free and doing well8-)

Stay fit and take it one day at a time.

Well Done you two, sat at home as proud as punch and so you should be 😀 .
Now I need to say this first, Now you are home Phil its not all done Please take your time and keep your temp checks regular as it will take you a few more months before you feel the difference, if like me I woke up one morning and knew Just Knew I was better 😀 and have never looked back since 😎 so one day at a time and if you need that extra sleep take it 😉

if you are both feeling scared well thats normal as I was for a day or two, it will pass.

Its been a long time since I took them and used to take 10 Tabs @ 8 am and another 10 Tabs @ 11 am, was I bad with them ?? Lol I once asked the young bride (elaine) if i was bad on dex? and she just tapped my arm and said "Its over now your better! and walked away ? am sure that means I was Bad lol.

as the Ladies say its like having a baby ? its soon forgot Lol, stick with it M8 am now drug free 😎

Well you like to have a bit of a rough time dont you ? am sure i told you Nice and "Smooth" with a bit of Vodka and a few nuts keeps my Blips (thats what yours is am sure) at bay 😀
Am sure you aint gonna let it beat you Keith am sure you have more fight in you its getting near spring and am sure that helps us all M8.

If you do need more treatment the CTD worked for me 😎

A warm welcome to the "Scary" place ?? well its not that scary its a great place for advice/help and a place to near cuss with all the problems that are thrown at us due to the MM.

I wont ask you not to worry because you will, I will tell you we have loads of Members here that have gone through what you are now going through and didn't know what to do/say (i was one of them) and a little bit down the line they (not I he he) can tell you the names and symptoms of every thing we get have and need, and i can see you knowing as much as the rest of the good folk on here (and more than I 😛 )

I had all my work done in 2009 and am now still in remission and Drug Free as you will be soon.

Hi Lisa and Hubby

Am sorry Hubby is having too many infections? (what kind of infection?)
As for the CDT I was on that in 2009 it made me tired that tired that I went on sick during my 4th cycle 🙁

Lisa always keep an eye on his temp and stuff as the Dex can hide an infection, am sure you have been told to ring the ward that he was being treated at if you have a problem ?

Am sorry your Dad is having trouble with his back 🙁 How long are you looking?? well truth is no one can say apart from the Dr who will have a good Idea, But my thinking is that it could be a long time as they are getting your dad ready for a SCT 😀

Stay strong Daniel am sure your Dad will be well looked after during his treatment.
