A warm welcome to the forum, sorry you had to.

Well If I remember correctly those first weeks/months were a whirlwind, plzd ur getting down and on with it as its the only way am afraid.

I was on CTD then had SCT all in December 2009 and doing well now so its worth it 😀
Heavy feet? well Gill ate Daves feet/ankles swollen it might be PN he is starting to suffer?? if he is getting swollen feet/ankles get some socks with loos tops Ie no elastic in them. Tired and weak is part of it also we all just have to alter to a degree on what and how much we do, I would say Dave is take it easy and dont rush your body wil tell you to slow down, and listen to it, all work and things can and will wait.

Your more than welcome 😀 , its a hard place to be this MM malarky and all its treatments :-S but it will be worth it in the end am near 3 years post SCT and drug free 😎 it was an uphill struggle some times but the end result is Tom back to (near) Normal, but after us all going through MM we forget what normal is am afraid.

Well I had my first BMB with no notice and to be honest it was a lot better than the weeks worry if I had to come back later Lol.
As for keeping the clots at bay I took an asprin every day (worked for me)
You will be fine Polly I worked up till my fourth cycle and had to go on sick for a year, that year took me through My SCT so its worked well, near three years down the line and drug free 😎

Pain with it?? I have to say I had None except when I was having Bone marrow Biopsy :-/
Was on CTD then onto a SCT and that was 2009 now am drug free and doing well 😀
Its normal to be scared and worried but now your dad has got MM its a road he has to travel am afraid 🙁

What is your dads Name, how old is your Dad and where is he being treated? as folk on here can give more info if they are at same Hospital.

Stress is a bad way and to be honest all joking aside do what you feel you have to do to release it as its more harmfull all caged up 🙁 but the best way is to come on here and give your rant we dont mind we might be able to help, and its cheap as you dont use Ink 😎

Looking Great My Friend 😀 its not started yet I dont think as and when you cant drink ask for the drip to be put back (I did) its bloomin hard to drink as much as you need and i found it better to use the line for mine for a day or two 😀 Just dont forget to unplug it before you get that need to dash to the loo ha ha I did many a time lol.

The CTD was not good for me it forced me on to the sick 🙁
Yes I had swollen feet and legs, Kids used to laugh when I showed them the ring around my sock top lol, Elaine got me new socks with no elastic in them real loos at top and that helped :-), the feet/legs will go down but my feet and fingers aint too good lol I still have "Spongy Feet and cold Fingers" but hey am drug free and for that am Happy 🙂

You have to keep warm when you are ill and Frank is as we all know, I since I had MM found the Cold way too cold and I have always got a snuggle blanket at side of my chair and i use it even when the heating is on Lol (like last nite 🙂

Pleased Bloods were spot on.
