Hi. It appears that my current treatment of lenalidomide/dexamethasone is not working for me after 7 cycles. My lambda light chains are not decreasing as they would like & are looking to move me on to Velcade/Cyclophosphamide/dexamethasone at my next meeting with my haematologist. I am struggling to get my light chain results back in time for my visits to my haematologist as long as 2/3/4 weeks some time & as this is the only way to assess just how well the treatment is actually working, I find that very frustrating.

Has anyone been moved on to the new treatment above & if so, how did they react to it?

Also when I eat, the taste from the food is awful, not just in my mouth but in my throat as well. It has gone worse as the months have gone on. Does anyone else experience this? I presume it’s with swallowing the medication. Apart from that, I feel relatively well.
