Finasteride and IRD Chemo

    Hello Group,

    Has anyone had experience of Myeloma chemo treatment alongside Finasteride prescibed for prostate problems?

    I am presently on IRD.

    Sorry you’ve had no responses Roger, perhaps use the Ask The Nurse service?
    There is a known connection between myeloma and prostate cancer so you are unlikely to be the only one to have had finasteride during MM treatment.
    (There is a history of prostate cancer in under 70s in my family which I believe is connected to my myeloma diagnosis.)

    Hi Roger,
    I’m afraid I haven’t any experience of Finasteride alongside IRD, just Alfusosin but Im not sure if that’s much help as I’m not sure how similar they are. Have you had problems with the combination of the IRD and Finasteride? xx
