Just popping in for a flying visit to see how you are doing, David!

Hopefully your neutrophils will soon be on the upward path and the mouth problems will improve shortly.

    Hi David

Sorry for not wishing you all the best before now.
Reading your posts remind me so of Michael last year.
Keep smiling even though your mouth is probably sore.

    Hi David

Wanted to wish you well, great to hear how it is all going for you, it brings back memories when my mum underwent her transplant in July, she is doing fab, like a new women. nothing holds her back. I recall her sleeping a great deal she tended to do this when reading the newspaper, I would visit and find her buried under the paper. with love and very warm wishes Fiona 🙂

Hi David, hope your happiness level will raise soon again! Although 5 isn't that bad taken into consideration what you have been through!
John had his sct in beginning of August and he is already back working half time and doing well so this can work miracles.
    Wish you all the best!

    Hi David,
I've just been reading your daily accounts of your SCT with great interest as I am now on day 13 of my own transplant. I've had the really sore throat though no mouth ulcers, sickness and diahorrea. My blood count has made a big jump from yesterday and I am no longer neutrophenic. The above mentioned symptoms have all gone and Im feeling much better today, my doctor is hopefull I will make it home this weekend.
I really admire your ability to post your progress every day as there were lots of days for me when I didnt even want to answer the phone. Well done and best wishes for a speedy recovery
    Regards
    Fran

I happened to pass a branch of William Hill today and they had you down at Evens for 0.1 on Friday 10th and 4/6 Fav for Saturday 11th – I asked for the odds for Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th and after they phoned the Taunton branch they offered me 11/4 for Wednesday and 2/1 for Thursday.

Now listen up David – I've lumped £2.50 on the nose for Thursday, giving me a return of £7.50 (including my original stake) and I intend to invest my winnings on the Euro Millions! So if you fancy 20% of £10,000,000 then get cracking!

    Dai.

(If you feel a bit perky on Tuesday night try and hold it back a bit and do us both a favour).

    Hello David,

I have just caught up on your musings and I just wanted to wish you a speedy recovery. I am sorry to hear you are feeling pretty rough and the moment with sore throat and poor appetite but I feel sure that once you turn the corner you will quickly bounce back.

Steve went back to work yesterday, two days a week only, and it is still not quite three months since his SCT.

I hope you will soon feel so much better,

    Love Mari xx
