I was just wondering if anyone has heard or knows something about how Patrick from Chesterfield is going on. (SCT in March, 2nd phase treatment about to start this autumn) His daughters (Theresa latest) kept us up to date up until the end of the summer, early autumn but nothing since.
Yes, as i thought, about the end of August. I don't know if Mary or Theresa ever left an email address, I'll go look. If not I just hope that they pop in now and again; I'd like to stay in touch.
I have Mary's email address, i will email and see if i can get a reply, i bumped her her post a few wk ago because i was worried and she didnt reply, i will let you know if i hear anything.
I have heard from Mary and She and her sister are fine, Dad Patrick is ok too, SCT didnt work so he is now having Velcade treatment, and suffering from breathlessness with it, but all in all they are well.
I dont know, all mary said was that it didnt work and that he was back on chemo, didnt give me any levels. I can ask her, hoping to meet up with her in december for a myeloma support group.
David, I suspect that he didn't get into any remission, either partial or complete, and that's why they are starting him on Velcade. It's not often that I have heard that happen. I do wish Patrick and his family well.
