    Hello all

Just to let you know that we got results of Henry's bone marrow and he is in remission 🙂 and yes I cried and Henry laughed! however we still have to attend the mac unit until 2014 for his monthly pramidonate drip and only have to see the consultant in 8 weeks. So there is light at the end of the tunnel especially when I think back to this time last year. I just really really hope Henry stays like this for a very long time. Apart from a couple of chest infections henry is doing very well. He went back to work full time in June, and yes he does get tired but he knows to rest at the weekends. I really benefited from my counselling sessions, throughly recommend that. so all is good in the McKenzie household. Off to make Henry's lunch for tomorrow then off to bed 🙂 night all

    Dear Sarah and Henry,

I haven't been on here for ages due to doing the Ball, but am so pleased to have read this update and to see that things are going well. You must both be feeling chuffed to bits!!

Make sure he continues to take things easy…it really does take up to a year to get back to things full on, but then…and I really mean it, then, things start to feel like life is normal again.

Good luck to you both and I hope that you can park the myeloma in a nice little spot and enjoy life inbetween those 8 week appointments.

    Take care
    Debs xx

    Hi Sarah & Henry,

I know I replied to this thread a few days ago but a few of my posts have gone AWOL… but never mind, good news is worth repeating… take it easy and take it slow…. but take it all the same. 😎

Use the first few months for mental and spiritual growth… the body will follow in its own good time… don't push, don't rush and you will be fine and dandy.:-)

    Regards

    Dai.
