Ian is still in hospital. He has to have a hicman line put in and antibiotics iv for 6 to 8 weeks. to get rid of infection in his back he is having this at home as we have private insurance. He will get out for the funeral

Very tired travelling 80 mile trip every day so staying in B & B every second night .

    Hi Maureen and Ian

Am pleased he will be home soon and that the infection is being treated at home (cant beat your own stuff)
Bugger about the travel and the extra expense you have to endure.

That is really tough on you Maureen. Mo and I have always counted our blessing with the Hospital 500 yards away. I hope it all goes well for Ian.

    just keep going

    Hi Maureen and Ian,

Thank goodness you aren't trying to fit your job in as well, I know it is not the start to your retirement that you would have wanted but hopefully once you get over this hurdle Ian will be home to stay.

    Hi Maureen and Ian

Just wanted to pop in to send my best wishes. Do hope that the antibiotics do their trick and Ian's back stays infection free.

    Love to you both.

    Hi all

Ian is still in hospital, wound was leaking, hickman line now in and hopefully the private insurer will have all in placefor Monday so he can be discharged . Got fed up staying b & b so now travelling every day but only one visit.

Funeral was very emotional for us but she is now at peace.

    Hi Maureen

Do hope you manage to get a support package in place so Ian can come home next week.
