Hello Dai, I had seen on previous threads that you attended the city hospital what a small world, aren't they a 1st class bunch of people in clinic and day case, kevs never been one for his patience but some how he keeps it In check! I think he surprised himself but they just treat you so nice and explain everything.
We've got a lot of time for them and the Stirling job they do.

The meeting you mention Dai sounds interesting and hope to get along to one in the new year.

Hi Tom, I've not been logging on because while we've been busy doing the kitchen I've had a few health issues, I'll not bore you with the details but I'm now on the mend and kevs looking after me bless him he's been worried.
So as you can imagine I've not felt like doing much kev was saying the other day "not seen you on your laptop lately" he relies on me keeping up to date with you all.

Hi Tom what a good idea Dai had, just to say kev and me were born in that vintage year 1955! Kevs 4 months post sct and doing ok we live in Nottingham and he's being treated at the nottm city hospital his consultant is proff: Russell and the whole team have been first class!!

Hello Tom just thought I'd log on and see what everyone's upto, not been on for a while but I do try and look in.
I am so happy for you it's good news you done really well and long may it continue!

Kevs doing ok he complains about aches & pains (I've put that down to him deciding to do my kitchen!) ended up getting people in to help which was a good move, he goes for his zometa next Tuesday I think he is ready for it and hopefully have a better Xmas than last year! ????

So Tom and everyone here's to a positive and happy Christmas and 2012! Keep strong!

Hi Tom,

As much as kev didn't like having the Hickman line in during sct it saved him from the (NO! Let's try again!!) so now when he arrives they put a hand warmer on which nearly always works albeit an extra half hour, there's one thing I have noticed kevs in patience is returning so it deffinetly was the drugs that kept him in check! All I get now at the hospital is "I'm getting fed up now!" but the crack with the nurses soon put a smile on his face:-) ( wonder why?)

Anyway Tom glad it got sorted in the end and having a laugh & a giggle is what it's all about >:-) 😀 🙂
