    It.Slims never been shy in that department.
    Once Slim had antibiotics he was fine,he started bad P&N after he came off Velcade,but when he came to Kings they upped Amitryptiline and now his legs are fine.

    Slim had harvest back last night and is doing fine,sick a few times plus hard to keep tablets down,very tired but much better than I expected,nurse has arranged a pump if he continues to be sick,plus having lots of fluids through drip.     Well what can I say? the 50% chance of surving the rest of this year has now reduced to £30%.

    Not much more to try. Stephen went to see the oncologist on his own last night for the first time ever (I have always gone with him) He has become very bad tempered and refused to let me go with him.

    Gosh such memories SCT, Prof. Schey, Davidson ward, limited allowable foods (a great many eggs hard boiled for 10 minutes, salad cream and a few other bits) Always a daily paper.

    We are not too far from Kings (we live in Orpington Kent) but still a darned long walk from Denmark Hill station to Kings.

    I think the 3 cycle was the hardest for Slim,mainly because he was ill and we just thought it was the effect of the chemo,because he did not have a temperature, it was not picked up by our doctor or A&E,he had pneumonia and the steroids masked the infection.
