Hi Bridget.
In my life knitting, sewing, embroidery and watching paint dry had about the same attraction for me as poking my eyes out with red hot needles.
BUT I am SOO pleased that your particular mojo is working again and you are enjoying doing things that bring you pleasure.

Hi Everyone
I agree completely some times I read it again and again, thinking what the h-e-l-l have I said, you could almost say heaven should be made offensive as both can be used in the wrong way.for eg: for heavens sake,is on a par with what the h-e-l-l-.and lets face it Tom told us all how to get round it,so if we wanted to swear away we could…[Read more]

It is worth some planning David, just for the fact that relatives are so upset, and I often think taken advantage of at undertakers,I am not religious, but find it hard that the person who takes the service, gets paid £150 for less than 20 min work, and…[Read more]

Dai you have certainly saved my (and Stephen's) blushes I have been in fits of laughter since reading your post. I was worried that I would embarass everybody so much they would not talk about it. I am now on the look out for little old ladies. I wonder if we could keep one or two in the garage and wheel them out when needed. HOLD ON I am now a…[Read more]

Hi Paul
Believe it or not in my miss spent youth as a scouser I spent a lot of time, walking hiking and climbing the only way to meet fit male bodies.
Live in the south now more sedate, nearest I get is the white cliffs of Dover,or the Saxon way but still very beautiful.

There is a problem for me there David. I would want to delete the bit about having mm being great, but want to keep the bit about meeting nice people.
Light bulb moment! Can we edit each others' posts? 😀 😀 😀
I could just leave the bit about nice people

Thank you all for you replies. You are such a great bunch of people when support or a shoulder to lean on or a bit of humour is required.

I know when Stephen was diagnosed in November 2008 His oncologist told us, with pride, that he had patients who had survived 5 years or more. At the time I wanted to jump out of my seat, shake the man and say "but he is only 53"
I now agree that if you have to have an incurable cancer mm is one that gives you time to reflect and get things…[Read more]
