We lost both our dogs in 2010, first Murphy (13 years) our Springer and then Guinness (15 years) our Border Collie. I buried them next to each other in the garden. We would both love another dog but our circumstances do not allow it.

We wish you all the best with your new friend (green with envy)

    kindest regards

No Sarah, it is not sad quite the opposite in fact. I am already looking at my garden, the Winter Pansies and Wallflowers have survived the winter snows well so far. I cleared the leaves off two large lawns the other day; I had to sit down for the rest of the day mind :-/ but it looks so much better.

Keep strong Roz and think only of the good times. Like Elizabeth it brought tears to my eyes. I am sure Michael will be looking down on you as you read it, feeling so proud.

You will find that many people post early mornings, I did myself for some time. It is not because they are "larks" like you, but, because they are on Dexamethasone which keeps them awake 😀 .

Well a warm welcome John to the site nobody "wants" to join. You are right this is an excellent resource provided by MyelomaUK. You will find we are a friendly and supportive bunch here and the information on the site first class.

Well done to your Doctor for picking up the anaemia link, my own doctor missed it and I subsequently had all sorts of problems when I developed a tumour in the neck which I could have avoided.

    Kindest regards

Hi Min, Don't every feel you are "teaching granny how to suck eggs" with me. It is only the last two days I have been leaving the Senodyne on my teeth 😉 . No, I am not the brightest penny in the bank!

It was nice to know that this is just part of the process. Fortunatley it is just the back right of my mouth so I can eat and drink ok.

I have now fully regained my taste buds, had three cans of Guinness yesterday. The third one went down like liquid gold and I think I could have downed another when my wife shut the bar:-D 😀 .

    kindest regards
