Well said Gaye. I heartily agree with every word you have written. It is so nice to talk to others who completely understand what you are going through. I find the site and ?my Friends? on it so helpful and supportive.
A merry Christmas and a GREAT new year to you all.
Kindest regards

Very interesting Amelie, it does I think reflect some movement forward and a line for the youngsters amongst us to grasp.

Yes – Sorry I should have said, You do need Adobe Flash Player. You can get it free on the Adobe site. It will download and install itself. Many of this type of programme are done in what is commonly known as "flash".

Eva, you always put me to shame, I have not ventured out into the snow yet.

Well, I say that we had a burst pipe last night. I thought I had switched off the outside water system but it seems the ball tap snapped as I turned it and I had not realized it at the time. The pipes were all in a box on the house wall and independently lagged inside it and the box was lagged. Jack frost got in and bingo, you might say. I found the snapped ball tap and then had to turn off the water maim before I could take it apart, although I still had some water coming out of the tap from the main tank, and put in a plug to seal it all. I was wrapped up like an Eskimo whilst I found the tools and parts needed for the job in my workshop. It took its toll on me though and I did not get up to 1145 today.

However, I am looking forward to getting back "on the road". How far are you going now Eva (give me a target to aim for)
Merry Christmas

Hi Sharon, I was shocked to read your story. I thought an ALLO was the Gold Standard. I can offer nothing but my sympathy and hope that it is just a blip in a good recovery.

Dear Dear Roz
I have been so wrapped in my own problems the last 3 weeks I did not pick up your post. I was so sorry to read your post, you have fought for so long and so hard for Michael. You are right to be by his side at the end, you of all deserve it and I know Michael will be much comforted by your presence.
All the very best to you and your family, and may your God walk with you.

Yes, thank you for the new site I personally much prefer it.

One problem: Am I the only one that has not yet worked out how to use the spell checker?? I cannot even seem to find one. Generally I type in Word and copy and paste!

Kindest regards

Well you were dead right about the ambushes Dia. My white blood cell count took a bit of a battering apparently over the last two day but still holding up above .55. I totally appreciate the wonderful facilities I have at Musgrove Park Hospital, only bettered by the staff. The thought of three of you queuing for a toilet makes me smile (sorry should not really) at the same time feel so sorry for you. Yes, I have been a spoilt brat here indeed; and I have loved it.
Going forwards
Kindest regards

When I went into hospital for my sct a cousin from South Africa sent me an Africans word to use. It is "Vasbyte", it means bite hard. And if you you think about it really fits MM so well.

The very best of luck to the pair of you and VASBYTE
