    Hi Michelle
So glad your mum is still doing well. The Revlimid makes you tired. Michael was always falling asleep. one min he was talking then in the land of nod.

    All the best
    Roz

  • Thanks Tom

Just got to get tonight over, then see what tomorrow brings. They have forcast snow again. Michael hated snow, but it snowed when he was dying and looks like its going to snow while they cremate him. Another way to make sure I never forget. Do you think its a hoeman.

I really need the hug tonight

If I've anything to tell or add I'll do it.

    Love to you all

    Hi Gill

I don't know what it is about this illness, but Michael wanted another dog. He talked none stop about it, even when he was confused he'd been taking our dog Benji out, so he said any way. Benji has been dead for around 10 years.
I put my foot down and said no due to both our conditions, but part of me wish I'd given this bit of…[Read more]

  • Hi Ron

Michael my husband had lots of blood transfusions. Anaemia was a part of his myeloma.
You will see that once your wife has had the blood, she will start to improve.
I have not known any drawbaks from transfusions, the opposite in fact. Your wife, or your self will know when this is needed again in time. With Michael I always knew…[Read more]

The service is Friday 7th January at 12.40pm.

I'll try to stay in contact, as long as I'm not intruding.
Now Michael has passed on I don't know where I belong any more.
I'll raise money for you as often as I can, but all my contacts stopped when Michael got worse. Its like finding my life again, without Michael and it is very…[Read more]

It's lovely. Enclosed is a verse I'm hoping to read at Michael's cremation. Got to get rid of sore throat first.

  • Thanks All

I'm taking each day as it comes. Still walking in a daze, but trying to carry on.
Michael is now back in Doncaster.
Cremation at end of week, then stage 3 starts sorting papers and stuff out.

    Thanks for keeping me sane

    Hi Gill

I hope you keep a calmer placid Stephen for quite a while. I know what they did to Michae, and how things were always my fault. The nurses always say, not everyone who takes it suffers this way but nearly everyone on this site takes it out on their partners when on Dex I believe.

  • Hi

This was just a sml side effect that Michael got, but his rash was bad. It started on his neck then literally went all over his body. Michaels rash itched like mad when water touched it. So it was very hard for him to get washed. He never got this rash until the 2nd cycle, it took over a week to go. It started going when he had the 7 day…[Read more]
