Trying to relax. The doctor gave me pills but I am not taking them.
Can't wait for cleaning etc. Charlie's Neutrophils are 2.4 at the moment and paras are 13.4 – Nightmare. I shall practice cleaning before he goes in hospital in July. I am trying to arrange a separate room downstairs he can stay in. Upwards & Onwards!!!

    Hi Phil
We asked the consultant the other day and Charlie is 2.4. Is that good?
Glad you have the new lead much easier than ipad. Wish we were in remission – fingers crossed.

    Hi Tom

Did you just keep the animals away? I am the most undomesticated person, I shall have to practice.

A whole new way of life!!!

    Hi Everyone

Thanks so much for your replies. Makes me feel that I have to change my whole way of life and continuously clean. Don't know what to do about the dogs. Has anyone else got animals? They are so germy!!!
I suppose we just have to get on with it and cope.

Is it best that Charlie has a room alone after Stem Cell? If so, I must arrange it all.

thanks so much for your help.

    Hi Tony

    Hi David

I am the most undomesticated person ever. I have to practice – I think!!!
It is so tempting just to see the grandchildren regardless but we must change our whole way of thinking. It is going to be so hard. We do not know how everyone copes.
We wish we had never heard of Myeloma.
    Deap breath.

Nightmare! What do I do in my present situation? One of the dogs has a stomach bug and is being sick and ****** everywhere?

How long does it take until you are fit again? Should Charlie be totally isolated?
    How does everyone cope?

    Hi Phil
We don't even know what neutrophils are. What are they supposed to be?
Do you feel OK now? How long has it been? Hope you have become used to the ipod.

I feel, I must get my act together and prepare.
    thanks so much.

Nightmare Tom. What do I do when the dogs come in filthy?
How long do you have to do all this for? Is it best to have a separate room for Charlie away from everything?
Can't wait until it is all over.
    Upwards and Onwards!! 😀

Hi Vicki & Colin and Everyone

I go tomorrow to be randomised on the trials. Stem Cell or Velcade.
I just wanted to know, what are you like when you come out of hospital? Will I be able to walk up the stairs? How do you feel? Does the rcovery take ages?

    Hi Emma
2013 is Ok at the moment – fingers crossed. Went to the hospital last Tuesday and was given another cycle of CDT but with extra Clexane injections. They are going to see in 3 weeks my para protein levels and consider Stem Cell Transplant.
Is your Mum OK now? Somehow it is less worrying when she is in hospital, you know there is someone looking after her all the time. I know my wife keeps an eye on me all the time in case I collapse again. They said that I had 2 small clots but they thing it was a large one which was broken up during resuscitation. Thank Goodness.
Upwards and Onwards. Hope your Mum does well. Wouldn't remission be wonderful?

    Hi Susan

I am OK at the moment, back on all my drugs to get the paras down ready for stem cell. Not looking forward to it. Where are you on the trials?
It is all so confusing, would love it to be all over and remission – fingers crossed.

As Tom says Upwards & Onwards.
    Love Charlie 😀

    Hi Emma

I have been on Clexane injections from the beginning because I had previously had PE's. They have now upped the dose.
Don't fancy going back on thalidomide. We are still thinking about our options. It is all so difficult.
It is good that your Mum is in hospital as it takes so much worry away knowing they are looking after her.

Here is to a good year!!!!>:-(
    Love Charlie
