  • Dear Mari
Please read Sharpie 's last post it makes lots of sense her explanation of pp going up as told to her.
It may help to calm your fears. I know all too well how easy it is to get on the panic step. When you have more information you will feel much calmer. I hope
    Love

I know how it is Sarah,
I came home from my daughters on Monday to an empty house. No one to tell of my week away.
Been trying to put a new blind up in the kitchen and its taken me all day.
Peter was so handy about the house, and you cant find a workman for love or money just to put a blind up.
Just had a big bubble and weep first one since…[Read more]

Keith Peter used to get what they called 'cover' when having transfusions to stop an alergic reaction. Just an anti histamine IV. Might be worth asking about.

I know where your coming from Roz, being alone with no one to chat to or make a cup of tea etc is very different to how I imagined.
Not sure if i can get used to this quiet life who do I moan to when theres rubbish on the TV! Who is going to make sure I come home safe when I take the dogs out. Its very hard.
It will take some getting used to.

    Dear Gill and Stephen
I am so so sorry to hear about Stephens prognosis, I know how desperate you must feel and how much you will be pinning your hopes on Revlamid. Rightly so, no one knows what will and what will not work with this bast*** disease.
Peter was on it for a 6 months and in the 1st 4 months the results were briliant we went on our…[Read more]

  • Hello Peter

Just wanted to say Welcome to you although I´m sorry we are all meeting like this.
You and you super wife sound to have worked out how to cope with this horrid illness really well and your good lady obviously takes very good care of you. What would we do without our lovely helpers? – be pretty miserable I think.

    Best wishes
    Carol xxxx

  • Hi everyone

Just a quick note to tell you about a lovely chap I met last week when I went for my Zometa drip. He was diagnosed over 10 years ago and had chemo and STC. He is absolutely fine (now aged 64) although he says he still does get tired if he overdoes things – but don´t we all? He looked really well and he was really positive and…[Read more]

  • Hi Amelie

Luckily my doctor is very kind and sympathetic – it´s just that after my being so poorly I think my itchy back comes rather low down in the order of things to worry about so I´m trying not to worry about it.
    Hope things go well.
