You are all so very kind and in my present loneliness it very comforting to know your all out there.
I have been to my Dr's several times in the past few weeks for a variety of reasons but mostly because when Peter was alive he insisted I make an appointment with my favourite lady Dr; as he saw how tired I was becoming.
    The appointment was made…[Read more]

My four year old little grandson spent the first 10 minutes trying to negotiate how many items I could buy before we went to McDonalds and when I wouldnt play that game tried to negotiate…[Read more]

    Hi Nadine and welcome
Hope this helps. I had my STC in Feb of this year and although I can´t say recovery was as quick as I would have liked I am now in remission so I can´t ask for more.
I do get very tired but on the other hand that could be because I look after three horses every day, do all the housework and cooking and shopping, laundry e…[Read more]

  • Hi
I had my SCT in Feb and the last three months I have been back on Revlimid. In addition to the usual symptoms you mentioned I have felt quite strange at times. I describe it to my husband as being like a goldfish looking out as everything seems rather vague and distant. I have also had some worrying short term memory losses and there are…[Read more]

I love the discovery I made in the loft yesterday. I found in my sons boarding school trunk, my husbands uniform neatly folded with his hat and white parade gloves. Underneath it was a white thick folder with a large number of official looking documents, all of them commendations that I had never seen before.
In the same folder was a wallet I…[Read more]
