When we got to the hospital yesterday the nurse gave us a number as the consultant wants to speak with us,we are waiting for them to ring us back with that appointment.we have an appointment at 4pm today with mums mm consultant,so hopefully today we will have some answers.

Hi Dai, so sorry you have this dreaded lurgy its not good especially if everywhere is closed. lets hope your temp goes down and you can stay at home and relax.

Me and my sister had the flu jab yesterday but havent had the Pneumonia jab.
Not sure if you need both or not and also is there a swine flu jab this time round. its is as you say jab,jabber, jabbed lol.

Hi Eve, it is hard as my gran(mums mum) has got bowel cancer she is 92 and there is nothing they can do for her. mum is worried because of this. But she didnt seem too bad when we went seeing her yesterday so hopefully she may start to feel better soon with the revlimid. Hi and thank you for your replies. Mum was breathless and we were worried that it was her lungs but we now know it was because of her blood levels being low. I spoke to mum last night and she wasnt feeling as breathless. I will speak to her later and hopefully she will feel much better in herself.

Hi Etta and husband, Its my mum with myeloma and you doe get the highs and the lows. i stuck to this website when we found out that mum had it. This site is a godsend and the people on it are full of wonderful advice and support.

Hi Terry, My mum was on velcade but only had 2 lots of treatment but it affected her heart and kidneys so it was not right for her. But i have spoken to others and its done them really well, so it all does depend on the individual person
