Next morning, no side effects so far but I have trapped wind and constipation I think. Will find out later.
Since taking dex and oxy in tablet form as well as thalidomide at night Ive had no pain yesterday, none this morning either.
I’m worried about the dexa ad its a string dose, though not as strong as the dose that gave me hallucinations. 10ml rather than 20.

Started treatment today. This is my treatment planner

I stated my chemo today and I had velcade and daratumumab today after a Zometa drip (non chemo, its a bone strengthening drug)
No side effects as yet. The dara is long jab, takes about 5 minutes to inject, and the first jab, velcade, burned as it went in.

Got a riser recliner with heat and massage, makes life so much more bearable! Would recommend one to anyone!

Had a consult with my doctor today, I have a consultantation booked next Wednesday and to discuss treatment in depth. Then I will begin treatment on the 17th when I will begin with injections of daratumumab, bortezomib, and thalidomide (daily), along with dexamethasone.
Fun times ahead!

My paraproteins level were at 58 when the doctor tested me

Thanks Rabbit, everything good now, no more vomiting. Ive no idea what smoldering myeloma is. Not sure of the treatment I’ll be on, early days yet.
