Hiya Tony
Thanks for the support much appreciated. My SCT was cancelled a couple of weeks ago due to Myeloma coming back so quick after my final treatment so hoping to start new treatment on Monday coming.
I will be back in contact though 👍
Many thanks
Peter
Hiya Lilib
Thank you, yeah I’m sure the treatment is 3 times a week for 3 weeks per cycle? Tbc today hopefully 🙏 then take it from there let the medication does it’s job.
Thanks for the update on your hubby I hope everything works out for you both. Hope the new hospital visit goes well, I too still have doubts regarding my outpatient treatment as well but will wait until I finish the next treatment.
Keep those doors & windows locked & don’t let anyone in your house please keep those germs away from your hubby 🙏

Good morning Lili
Sorry to hear about your husband 😞 I can imagine how disappointed & frustrated you both must be like us we have been living like hermits since November 21 😞
Following strict rules along the way even my walks have been so remote away from everybody 😂.
Stay positive and I’m sure we will all have our stem cells back soon 🙏
Take care

Good morning Mulberry,
Thank you so much, I couldn’t believe it all hooked ready to go for the chemo I felt so healthy even consultant couldn’t believe it as well.
But I suppose it’s part & parcel of having this disease & like you say i am not the only one it’s happened to.
I will let you know what the next course of treatment is as well & how long it will be for 😁. Don’t worry positivity all the way again keeping healthy & strong 🤜❤️🤛
I hope your friend gets his SCT as well soon 🙏. I also hope Dave & Lili’s husband have had successfully carried out their SCT as well 🙏.
Take care everyone.

Hiya Lili
Sorry for the late reply I hope everything is ok?
I got my stem cells harvested no problem so all stored away for when I can eventually get them transplanted.
Did your husband get his treatment & is all going well 🙏.
Yeah the though of being an outpatient was a bit of weird one we do live around 40mins from the hospital but it is daunting things going through your mind with all of the what is?
Like I say I’m back to see the consultant on Monday to discuss the next kind of treatment.
Hope you are both well & take care.

Hi everyone
Sorry I’ve not been on finished my 6 cycles treatment in April, gave my stem cells to harvest end of June ready to go in Tuesday for high dose chemo for my stem cell transplant today.
So on Tuesday I went in all prepared for my chemo nurses took bloods & sent off for tests before my treatment only for my neutrophils to be low 😞so they took more to double check & came back the same only to be told the Myeloma had came back the sneaky little bugga.
Stem cell transplant got cancelled 😞. I am now going in to see consultant on Monday to have further treatment to start plan B so I will keep you all updated.
I wouldn’t care I’ve been feeling super fit after treatment finished in April I’ve been averaging 5 mile walks everyday & had no problems. So to say I was gutted on Tuesday is an understatement even my consultant can’t believe it as I’ve had no problems during my 6 cycles.
So nevermind it is what it is positivity all the way & just have to wait to be reborn again 🥰
Hi Dave
I’ve just seen your post, I hope you are well & hope the treatment went well 🙏.
I may have to have my SCT as an outpatient I’m going in today to have the stem cells harvested. It’s a bit of a shock to the system to be told this as I had geared myself up to a hospital stay for recover.
I have to admit I didn’t have problems during my 6 cycles of chemotherapy so fingers crossed for the next part.
I hope you have had a great recovery.
Peter
Hiya Lili
Thank you for your reply and info much appreciated, I’ve sent an email & I am going to ring up the new consultant this morning to see if they have the dates for me as you can imagine I just want to get the next stage over & done with.
I will keep you posted.
Great to hear your hubby is feeling well after his chemo, it’s weird how it can affect different people, the dizziness & being lethargic brings me back to when I 1st had problems with my coeliac disease before I was diagnosed with Myeloma. I’m used to it haha.
Thanks again to everyone with your info & kind comments. I will keep you all updated.
Take care
Peter
Thank you KH0305
Yeah great birthday for Andrea she is definitely on the mend which is great.
I had a consultation with my original consultant last week & he was over the moon with my blood results which was great to hear.
He was going to chase up the stem cell treatment as I’d told him that I’ve not had any dates sent to me yet. Hopefully find out this week fingers crossed 🤞.
Since last week I’ve had no medication that I had been previously taking through the chemotherapy treatment which has left me dizzy & lethargic, apparently it’s the withdrawal symptoms of steroids & other medication & should clear up within 2 weeks 🙏.
So apart from the withdrawal symptoms I’m ok just waiting & as soon as I get the dates I will let you all know. How long do you normally wait from your last cycle?
Take care everyone.

Thank you. 6 cycles completed & finished on Andrea’s birthday lol.
Yes everything looked & sounded great so fingers crossed everything will start in the right direction. I haven’t heard back from my heart echo cardiogram & ECG not sure if that goes straight to the consultant? I have a breathing test Thursday 11.15. I had to have a covid test on Tuesday, isolated today.
Andrea is back full steam ahead with work as if nothing had happened lol, but we do know that the doctor had prescribed her a tablet which apparently she had a reaction to & this is what caused her the problems 😬 so now the new tablet is agreeing with her 💯.
Thanks again to everyone for your help & support.
I will keep you posted.
Take care.
