    Hi Jean
Sorry to hear you are having troubles with the site. You are the second person to have this problem so I don't think it is a phone issue. I have raised the issue with our support team and hopefully we will have a solution soon.

If anyone else is having this problem please post details here.

    Regards

Excellent news Dai. We made some changes to the website layout on Friday, renaming some of the sections. I suspect this may have been the culprit.

    Hi Folks
Can you let me know where you are trying to open the forum from? Is this from a bookmark you have made in your web browser or from another page on the site? I'm having trouble re-creating the error.

    Regards
    Stuart.

    Hi folks

After a little bit of digging, we have discovered the reason for not being able to reply to certain posts and we will get it fixed asap.

It's actually double quotes in the subject line that causes the problem. I have removed them from this post so replying shouldn't be a problem any more.

    Regards
    Andy

    Hi All
First of all apologies for interrupting the discussion, secondly apologies for the gremlin that stopped you all from replying to Paul's post. It was caused by the double quotes in the title. I have merged these two threads together and reported the error to our development team.

    Regards

    Hi Eve
Stuart here. If you click on your name in the top right of the page where is says "Welcome eve" you should be taken to your profile page. On the right hand side of this page there are a number of text links, one of which says "Edit". Click on this and you you will be able to change your personal details.

    Hope this helps

    Hi David
We have big plans for the profile section this year so we will be updating this whole area of the website. Currently there is a small section called "About the author" where you can write a small biography. For some reason the box you type this information into is tiny at the moment, although you can still add plenty of text. I will flag this and get it correctly re-sized. If you click 'Edit' in your profile you can access this and any information in here will appear at the top of your profile.

    Hope this helps for now
    Stuart

    Hi Ron
Unfortunately we don't have a spell checker built into the site, although we have requested that one be added. If you are using a web browser other than Internet Explorer such as Safari on the Mac or Chrome you may get red underlines in misspelled words as these web browsers have automatic spell checkers built in. There is a free spell checker for Internet Explorer called ieSpell (http://www.iespell.com/) which allows you to right-click on some text and check its spelling.

    Hope this helps
    Stuart.

    Hi Keith
Sorry to here you've been having problems posting. I have raised the issue with our development team and hopefully they will have this fixed shortly. It's probably just a setting somewhere that needs changing to allow more time. If you have any more issues with the site please contact us directly at webteam@myeloma.org.uk. We can't read every post on the discussion forum so problems like this can slip by if they are not reported. Please stick with us while we iron out these problems.

    Regards
    Stuart.

    Hi all,

Just to confirm these aren't emails that have originated from Myeloma UK.

It seems that those who have registered with myelomaforums are getting this email and it may be worth making sure your anti-virus software is on and up-to-date… just in case.

    Kind regards
    Andy (Myeloma UK)

    Hi Debs,
Good idea. The topics will be getting another review in the new year. I'll add your suggestion to the list.

    Cheers,
    Stuart.

    Hi Min,
I've raised the issue of creating an archive with our developers and they are looking at the options. This will hopefully be something we can get sorted out in the new year.

    Cheers,
    Stuart.

    Hi David,
Glad you like it but I'm afraid there isn't a spell checker on this version of the site. I've put in a request to improve the message editing features and a spell checker is top of that list. It's a real shame Internet Explorer doesn't have a built in spell checker like all the alternative web browsers.

    Cheers,
    Stuart.
