Thanks Glad you enjoyed them. My mate sent them to me so I'll not take all the credit.
I had a bad night. Michael rang then we got cut off.Not been able to get him since. He always goes like this b4 something is changing. He needs my reasurance and to hear me tell him he will be fine without me.

Hi Tom and all

Michael never got to the other hospital after all! At first he was going testerday morning, so visiters got cancelled. Then it changed to pm for some reason so more visiters got cancelled.
He saw his consultant who told him to make sure this arm got operated on again because of the problems and what will happen to his life without it. Also this was the last appointment for a very long time.
In the afternoon he went down for the ambulance, which never came. The wrong vehicle came , one he couldn't go in. So he never went!!
My daughter had to be told then to visit. My mate took her.
So now once again it is wait and see time.

Does anything ever go right when you have mm???

If you are not happy go through PALS, and make a complaint, thats what they are there for, I had to complain last yr about the same hospital and it was dealt with really well, that is the only way that these problems can be stopped. I am so sorry that you are having problems though, love to you both

Roz no wonder you and Michael feel down I agree with Michelle now is the time to go through PALS and complain !!Write it all down before you contact them to help you remember .It sounds hopeful as Michelles complaint at the same hospital was dealt with quickly Good luck but dont wait do it today that way you might have some peace of mind love Bridget x

God knows that we can be eternally grateful to and for the NHS for its 'not for profits' services and levels of care and I am sure that each of us can testify time and time again first hand about the wonderful personal experiences we have enjoyed – but if we don't conversely flag the bad practices and bad personal experiences, then things will only go from bad to worse, from wonderful to woeful, from bouquets to bucket banging and bricks.

You have had not one or two but many, even myriad bad experiences with your hospital Roz and its about time someone was told. Start small by getting in touch with PALS and having them look at this particular problem, which may seem small in the whole shebang but is potentially life altering in Michaels case.

Hi all
Thanks for the support. I've just heard from Michael's specialist nurse. Things are in process again but this time the consultant is to come to Michael to save any more upset. When I don't know so I'll let you all know.
