I HAVE NOT GOT BOWL CANCER!!!!!!!:-D The Consultant was happy to inform me at my last appointment on the 6th May. Now there is a blessing.

Seriously though, my appointment went very well holding onto my 2.0g/L PP level, in fact it has gone down ever so slightly .2. HB stands at 12.3, WBC at 6.7 and Pit (anyone know what this is it is new to me) 305. I was informed that my anaemia had also got marginally better so everything going in the right direction.

I have an uncomfortable feeling, no more than that, in my neck and they took an x-ray just to check. I put it down to going for a bicycle ride, only 5 miles, with my wife; I have not ridden a bike for 20/30 years. I did not bother to tell her about the sore bum!!!!!!

    Kind regards ? Vasbyte

I also thought (still am) of getting a Bike to help build up my energy levels.I seem to have got fit (ish) then its stopped so might get a bike but looking at them the saddle's :-/ dont look too comfy :-S what happened to the big wide saddle with big springs 😀

Keep on the "Upwards and Onwards" David 😀

Yay!! Great news David, what a relief!! Truly wonderful news, and like the others say – its a great start to the week.

Like Jean, I am also jealous you can cycle 5 miles …. I'd need oxygen waiting for me at the finish line!! 😛

I had my bowel removed 10 years back after suffering severe ulcerative collitis – every appointment was made up of my descriptions in colours and consistencies, and cameras, heavens the cameras, so many cameras – you don't want to go there if you can help it!

    Sending love

Hey Great News David. Glad it turned out well for you. >:-)
I am doing fine up to now after SCT, blood count levels improving week by week. :-D. Keep going onward and upward as we say. Stay with the bike, don't let the sore bum put you off, it won't last.
    Best Regards
    DMC.
