    Hi

I’ve just had a quote for worldwide including cruising on an annual policy for £1350. I am in remission takin Lenalidomide for maintenance. I thought this rather expensive.

    Hi
I have my travel insurance with my nationwide bank account. They wouldn’t insure the Myloma but covered for everything else. The Myloma is in remission and I’m on revlimid for maintenance. Contact the Myloma helpline and they will send information with relevant companies.

    Regards

    Hi,
I have my travel insurance through my bank account. I notified them of my Multiple Myloma this week. I was told they couldn’t insure the Myloma but I was covered for everything else so no extra cost.

    Hi,

When I claimed for pip in September 2020 a lady from the citizens advice bureau collected the application form from my house. She then filled the form in for me whilst I was on the phone with her. (Covid). I got confirmation about my award in February 2021.

    Regards
    Ian.

Hi all, I am replying to this as I am also a newcomer.I was diagnosed with myeloma on 15th june. Would have started treatment straight away but it was delayed due to covid 19. However I was told that it didn’t really matter when treatment starts as there is no damage to bones. I have had my head in the sand but as I start chemo on Monday thought I my see if someone could enlighten me as to what I can expect. I will be in dexamethane, bortezomid, and thalidomide with a injection of chemo. Injection Monday and Thursday for 2 weeks then 2 weeks off. Repeat each month for 6 to 8 months then stem cell transplant. Interested in first few weeks like when you know the drugs have really kicked in. But first got a football match to go and watch then see if I can reach the bottom of a bottle of him when I get home.
