It was a 1st to get through this weekend. My son"s birthday without his dad
We all went to Bellwoods brewpub(my son in laws pub) and had Sunday lunch on the patio in the still very hot weather.

Helen told me on July 10th she was glad I was able to care for Peter at home. It wasn.t easy but as Helen said the loveliest thing I could do for him. I hope you have the chance to also do this for Srephen.
Mins post above mentions talking of what Stephen may want for you in the future.
Peter and I talked and we agreed on a coffee date every day no matter where in the worlh I was I would have a coffee date with him. It makes me very sad at the moment when I do this but also very comforting and the children often join me at the cemetry with the grand children for a picnic Sunday lunch something else we had talked about when we still could.
Just silly little things but very special ti us now.

Hi Helen
Hope all is still going well with your work and you are not to tired out.
Has your rain stopped yet??

The pomalidomide trial didn't work and he was on pain meds i.v only for the last week.
He was at home we had a bed in the living room where he could look out of the floor to ceiling windows and have family around. I had a bed in the adjoining dining room so was never far from him and his needs day and night.
So sad to say he finally passed away on Sat Juy 21st

I so feel for you and the treatment you have had to put up with. I am glad Slim is feeling a bit beter now and will think about you on 8th as you make the journey up to Kings.
It's not easy and all the extra hassles makes everything so hard.

Do let us know when you have your appointment mailed to you so that we can think about you. I hope it isn't a midnight appointment and you can tolerate the lying still for so long.
I hope the radiation helps and is there talk of surgey yet? or radiation will cure it?
