Yes Mike it’s good to know now but it’s took an age to get it started.sounds like your doing good on it for early days that’s good.
I haven’t been given a time to be told how long before they know it’s goung to work, do you have the Dex for two days after the infusion and is it only two tablets ? And do you need to take anything else, he said something about other meds but never elaborated ?.

Well fourth then fifth? I don’t know what the fifth would be am gussying something else will pop up by then..
Good luck and as you will be three weeks ahead of me I will keep my eye on you…..onwards and upwards x

Hi everyone
I will be going on daratumumab soon, it will be my fourth line of treatment, it will be given via cannula. It should start in the next week or two….

I was a member and regularly posted on here……but…I left because some of the posts went missing….and others only half posted…never understood how half my post posted the other half shot into cyberspace lol….that said it looks and feels those problems have been fixed.

Sorry to hear about your Mum and also sorry to hear of the loss of your father.
I would ask at the hospital and or McMillan if there are groups of people that is willing to help, also the churches usually have members that are willing to pop and see people and sit and have a chat….shame your siblings aren’t standing up to the plate when your mum really needs them…so sad….
Hope you can get some help and company for your mum…..onwards and upwards

Sorry to hear David’s relapsed, wish you luck with getting the Dara…. I think your consultant has to plead David’s case as I have been told it’s only for the fourth line of treatment..
Oh thanks for the comments re coming back to the group….I left because of the problems of post that I sent…going missing and or not all I had written being delivered…fingers crossed it’s fixed.
